First non-stop route between the two cities.

American Eagle intends to launch non-stop regional jet service between Charleston, West Virginia and New York LaGuardia beginning April 7. This is the first non-stop route between the two cities.

American Eagle will field 37-passenger ERJ-135s on the route. Eastbound, New York flights will operate daily except Sunday; westbound, there will be flights every day except Saturday.

Business traveler tip: Keep in mind that New York flights to and from LaGuardia are often late. The airport continues to rank as one of the most delay-prone in the country so be sure to build in some extra time when planning appointments.
